So, as you all probably know by now, Joleon Lescott has today had a transfer request rejected by Everton, however rumours persist that a move to Manchester City may still be on the cards.

The England defender has been the subject of several bids from Manchester City, however Toffees boss David Moyes still remains hopeful of keeping Lescott at Goodison Park.

It is now thought that should City meet Everton’s £21 millionvaluation of Lescott, then the 26-year old will be on his way to Eastlands.
